Fiber Sigma was founded by Dr. John Matthewson in order to make mechanical test equipment available to the optical fiber community at large. Most of our equipment is unique in that it is not available commercially elsewhere. Fiber Sigma equipment is now in use in most of the large optical fiber research and testing laboratories around the world.
